1. General provisions

1.1. This document (hereinafter the "Legal Information") contains official information about the owner of the website www.alataucity.kz (hereinafter the "Website") and sets out the terms of use of the Website and the materials placed on it.

1.2. The owner and administrator of the Website is the State Fund "Alatau City Authority" (ACA) (hereinafter the "Organization", "we").

1.3. By accessing and using the Website, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. If you do not agree with the terms, please discontinue your use of the Website.

1.4. The procedure for the collection, processing and protection of the personal data of Website users is set out in the Privacy Policy.

3. Legal status of the Organization

3.1. The State Fund "Alatau City Authority" was established in accordance with Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan of 26 September 2025 No. 1015 "On Certain Issues of the Development of the City of Alatau" and operates on the basis of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Special Legal Regime of the City of Alatau".

3.2. The Organization ensures the functioning and development of the city of Alatau under the special legal regime of a "city of accelerated development", and encourages and creates favourable conditions for investors in order to protect investments.

3.3. The competence and powers of the Organization are determined by the Constitutional Law, other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Organization's constituent documents. The information on legal status provided on the Website is for informational purposes and does not replace the official texts of regulatory legal acts.

4. Intellectual property and use of materials

4.1. All materials placed on the Website - texts, photographs, images, graphics, diagrams, presentations, video materials, logos, design elements and the structure of the Website - unless expressly stated otherwise, belong to the Organization or are used by it on lawful grounds and are protected by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on copyright and related rights, as well as by international treaties.

4.2. Viewing the Website's materials and saving them for personal non-commercial use is permitted.

4.3. Quotation of the Website's materials for informational, scientific, educational and other non-commercial purposes is permitted to the extent justified by the purpose of the quotation, with mandatory attribution of the source - "Alatau City Authority" - and, when published online, with an active hyperlink to the Website.

4.4. The materials in the "For media" section are intended for use by representatives of the mass media in preparing editorial publications, with attribution of the source.

4.5. The following are not permitted without the prior written consent of the Organization:

• reproduction of the Website's materials for commercial purposes;
• reworking, distortion or modification of the materials;
• use of the logos, corporate name and other elements of the Organization's corporate identity;
• systematic automated extraction of the Website's materials (scraping).

5. Limitation of liability

5.1. The materials of the Website are of an exclusively informational (reference) nature.

5.2. No information placed on the Website constitutes or should be regarded as:

• an offer or public offer within the meaning of the civil legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, unless expressly stated otherwise in the relevant material;
• an investment recommendation, a guarantee of returns or a proposal to acquire any assets;
• legal, tax, financial or other professional advice.

5.3. The target and forecast indicators provided on the Website (including planned investment volumes, population figures, development areas and the timeframes for implementing the phases) are based on current plans and estimates, may be revised without prior notice and are not a guarantee that the stated results will be achieved.

5.4. Any decisions, including investment decisions, are made by the user independently, on the basis of the user's own verification of the information and, where necessary, consultation with professional advisers. Submitting an application through the Website's forms does not create a contractual relationship: the terms of cooperation with investors and partners are determined by separate agreements.

5.5. The Organization endeavours to keep the information on the Website current and accurate; however, it does not guarantee its completeness, accuracy and timeliness at every given moment. To the maximum extent permitted by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Organization shall not be liable for any losses arising in connection with the use of, or the inability to use, the Website and its materials.

5.6. Access to the Website may be temporarily restricted, including in connection with technical maintenance.

6. External links and regulatory legal acts

6.1. The Website may contain links to third-party websites. Such links are provided solely for the convenience of users. The Organization does not control the content of external resources, bears no responsibility for it, and the placement of a link does not mean that the Organization endorses the relevant resource or its content.

6.2. The Website is not an official source for the publication of the regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The texts of regulatory legal acts and extracts from them are provided on the Website for informational purposes. The official texts are contained in the Reference Control Bank of Regulatory Legal Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan in electronic form and in the "Ádilet" legal information system (adilet.zan.kz).

7. Governing law

Relations connected with the use of the Website are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Disputes arising in connection with the use of the Website shall be resolved in the manner established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Organization has the right to change the content of this page and the terms of use of the Website at any time. The new version is published on this page with an indication of the version date and applies from the moment of publication. We recommend that you review the current version from time to time.
