During the LP & GP Summit, held ahead of the international AI & Digital Bridge 2026 forum in Astana, Alatau City Authority and Digital Capital Group (DCG) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at developing investment projects in the technology and infrastructure sectors of Alatau City using tokenisation instruments.

The document was signed by Bayan Konyrbayev, Chief Digital & Artificial Intelligence Officer of Alatau City Authority, and Maurice Hong Tuan, Partner and Board Member of Digital Capital Group. The parties intend to jointly consider potential investment projects with a combined value of up to USD 10 million.

Under the memorandum, Alatau City Authority and Digital Capital Group plan to jointly identify and assess promising investment projects, and to work through possible structures for their tokenisation and for raising capital. Specific projects, volumes and financing mechanisms, the composition of participants, delivery timelines and the roles of the parties will be defined separately as the work progresses.

A key area of cooperation will be the tokenisation of GPU compute capacity. This approach involves using digital instruments to structure investment in computing infrastructure and may become one of the practical applications of real-world asset tokenisation in Alatau City. The parties will also explore opportunities for projects in ESG, and in the city's warehouse and energy infrastructure.

The cooperation is intended to lay the groundwork for attracting international capital and investment expertise into the technology and infrastructure projects of Alatau City, and for piloting practical mechanisms for tokenising real-world assets.
