On November 1-3, 2026, London will host the "Alatau City Roadshow," an event designed to attract international capital, foster strategic partnerships, and promote investment projects for Kazakhstan’s new city, Alatau City.

The Kazakhstani delegation will be led by Kanat Bozumbayev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The delegation will include representatives from government bodies, the Alatau City Development Council, the Alatau City Authority, financial institutions, and the business community.

The centerpiece of the program will be the "Alatau City Investment Roundtable in London," taking place on November 2. It will bring together representatives from the British business sector, international financial organizations, investment funds, and the expert community.

The event will showcase the development concept for Alatau City, the city’s investment opportunities, plans for modern infrastructure, and the details of a special legal regime designed to create a favorable environment for investors. A dedicated panel session will focus on the legal mechanisms for attracting institutional capital, with discussions covering the application of English common law principles, public-private partnerships, the regulation of digital assets, investment protection, and dispute resolution mechanisms.

The business program includes scheduled meetings with the UK Government officials responsible for the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and the UK in the field of economic cooperation, representatives from the London Stock Exchange, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), UK Export Finance, Brookfield Asset Management, J.P. Morgan, Société Générale, Standard Chartered, and Citi. Additionally, talks are planned with representatives from British government agencies, educational institutions, and potential strategic partners.

Key topics will include attracting infrastructure investment, developing financial instruments, education, and international cooperation. The investment roundtable will conclude with a ceremony for the exchange of signed documents between the Alatau City Authority and its partners.

Hosting a roadshow in London will mark the next stage in the international promotion of Alatau City as a new hub for investment, innovation, and sustainable urban development in Kazakhstan.
