Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov met with Dr. Peter Lee, Principal of Full Vision Capital. During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for expanding investment cooperation in the areas of sustainable urban development, green energy, transport infrastructure, and the agro-industrial sector.
Prime Minister Bektenov noted that Kazakhstan is consistently pursuing its green energy transition policy while developing high-tech industries. Priority areas of cooperation included projects for the production of Renewable Aviation Fuel, the deployment of smart energy solutions, the development of energy storage systems, and the creation of modern urban infrastructure based on international best practices.
Particular attention was given to the prospects for implementing joint projects as part of the development of Alatau City. It was noted that the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the Special Legal Regime of Alatau City”, which entered into force, provides investors with a stable and transparent operating environment by introducing dedicated regulatory mechanisms and the “one-stop shop” principle.

The Government stands ready to provide all necessary support», – Prime Minister Bektenov emphasized.
In turn, Dr. Peter Lee, thanked the Government of Kazakhstan for its open dialogue and noted that the conditions created in the country for investors provide broad opportunities for the implementation of joint projects. «We are honoured to partner with the Government of Kazakhstan in supporting Alatau City’s green transformation. The talks concluded with a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Alatau City Authority Special Management Organization, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Full Vision Capital. The Memorandum is aimed at strengthening cooperation in the implementation of projects in the fields of sustainable energy, sustainable aviation fuel production, and the deployment of innovative energy storage technologies in Kazakhstan.
