Head of Infrastructure Development and Climate Resiliency Department

Location: 5 Yuriy Pomerantsev Street, Almaty. Full-time, on-site, 5/2 schedule.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, infrastructure engineering, environmental engineering or a related field from a recognised university.
• At least 10 years of professional experience, including substantial hands-on experience in infrastructure development, engineering, construction and project delivery, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership positions.
• A proven track record in the design, planning and delivery of large-scale urban infrastructure and construction projects.
• A thorough understanding of local design, permitting, construction and project delivery processes, including the applicable technical and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of construction materials, engineering systems, construction equipment and technologies, and the ability to assess their practical application, quality and fitness for purpose.
• A thorough understanding of project and infrastructure financing mechanisms.
• Fluent and confident spoken and written English.
