Requirements

  • Reports to the Chief Development Officer;
  • Conversant in English, spoken and written;
  • Graduate from a reputed university with a relevant degree in Urban Planning or Architecture;
  • Cross-trained in, or with previous experience of, Economics or Real Estate Analysis;
  • Minimum 15 years of working experience;
  • Track record in conducting Master Planning projects and executing large-scale urban projects.

Responsibilities

  • Organises and coordinates the consultants developing the 30-Year Long-Term Development Plan and the 15-Year Master Plan, and supports their approval and official publication by the relevant authorities;
  • Ensures the integrity and currency of the approved Master Plan, acting as its official custodian;
  • Implements compliance with the Master Plan through development control mechanisms;
  • Forecasts required land management activities, including land acquisition and resettlement, to ensure investment readiness of Alatau City;
  • Coordinates with the Chief Digital & AI Officer on the development of the Alatau City Digital Twin and the implementation of Smart City technologies for integrated urban management;
  • Coordinates with the Chief Investment Officer on land requirements in the investment activities.
